FAQ
- How does the exchange work?
- You choose to buy or sell, enter the number of keys and pick a coin. Everything else is automatic: our bot sends or receives the keys in an ordinary Steam trade offer. It usually takes a few minutes.
- Which payment methods are available?
- Payments and payouts are in cryptocurrency: the stablecoins USDT and USDC on Ethereum (ERC20), Solana, TON, BNB Chain (BEP20), Tron (TRC20), Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Linea, zkSync and Scroll, plus BTC, ETH, SOL, GRAM (TON), BNB, TRX, AVAX, POL, LTC, DOGE and BCH — the same for buying and selling. Prices are in US dollars; the amount in a coin follows its rate and is locked for 10 minutes when you buy. More in Payment and fees.
- How fast do I get paid for my keys?
- The payout is sent automatically right after our bot receives the keys. The crypto transfer then needs network confirmation — usually a few minutes.
- How many keys fit in my backpack?
- Each key takes its own slot: a free TF2 account has 50, a premium one has 300. The site checks the space before you pay. How to get more space — see this section.
- Are there any fees?
- You see the total before you place an order. For payouts, the network fee is shown next to every coin before you confirm. It is the real cost of the transfer plus a 15% margin for fee changes, with no other markup.
- Is it safe?
- You sign in through the official Steam sign-in — the site never sees your password. Keys move in an ordinary trade offer that you confirm yourself. More in Safety.
- Where can I see my orders?
- Click your name in the site header to open your order history with statuses.
How to buy keys
- On the home page, choose “Buy” and enter the number of keys.
- Sign in through Steam, paste your trade URL and email, and choose a coin and network.
- Before you pay, the site checks that there is enough room in your TF2 backpack.
- Pay for the order as shown on the payment page.
- Our bot sends a trade offer with the keys — accept it in Steam.
How to sell keys
- On the home page, choose “Sell” and enter the number of keys.
- Sign in through Steam, paste your trade URL and email, and choose the coin and network for your payout.
- Enter your wallet address for the payout and click “Confirm”.
- Our bot sends a trade offer for your keys — confirm it in the Steam mobile app.
- Right after the trade, the bot sends your payout.
Our bot accepts only Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys, exactly the number in the order, and only from the Steam account you signed in with. If you prefer, you can send the keys to the bot yourself — the trade link is on the order page. If you have several orders for the same number of keys, put the order number in the trade message.
Where to find your trade URL
- In Steam, open Inventory → Trade Offers → Who can send me Trade Offers?
- At the bottom of the page, in the “Third-Party Sites” block, copy the whole URL: it starts with
https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/. - Paste it into the “Trade URL” field when you place an order.
Open the trade URL page in Steam
If you click “Create New URL”, the old one stops working — paste the new one into your order.
How many keys fit in your backpack
In TF2, each key takes its own backpack slot — keys do not stack. Items already in your backpack take up space too.
| TF2 account | Slots | With expanders |
|---|---|---|
| Free-to-Play | 50 | up to 3750 |
| Premium | 300 | up to 4000 |
How to get more space
- Upgrade to a premium account — 300 slots. Buying any item in the in-game Mann Co. Store is enough; Steam Community Market purchases do not count. Another way is to receive an “Upgrade to Premium Gift” from another player.
- Buy a Backpack Expander: each one adds 100 slots.
- Free up space: sell, trade or delete items you do not need.
What the site checks
Before a purchase, the site asks Steam how many free slots your backpack has. If the keys will not fit, the order is not created and you are not charged — you will see how many keys you can buy right now. For this check your inventory must be public: Steam → Profile → Edit Profile → Privacy Settings → Inventory: Public.
Payment and fees
Payments and payouts are in cryptocurrency: the stablecoins USDT and USDC on Ethereum (ERC20), Solana, TON, BNB Chain (BEP20), Tron (TRC20), Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Linea, zkSync and Scroll, plus BTC, ETH, SOL, GRAM (TON), BNB, TRX, AVAX, POL, LTC, DOGE and BCH — the same for buying and selling. Prices are in US dollars; the amount in a coin follows its rate and is locked for 10 minutes when you buy. You see the total before you place an order.
When paying with crypto, send the exact amount, in the coin and on the network shown in the order, before the payment window closes. If you sent a different amount, used another network or paid too late, contact support and attach a link to the transfer.
An order that is not paid within an hour closes by itself. A sale also closes if the payout details are not entered or the keys are not sent to our bot within an hour. A closed order does not commit you to anything — just place a new one.
Payouts
The payout is sent automatically once our bot has received the keys. The crypto transfer then needs network confirmation — usually a few minutes. The network fee for your payout is shown next to every coin before you confirm the order.
The status of every order is in My orders.
The Steam trade does not go through
- The trade is on hold. Steam holds trades if the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator is not enabled or was enabled recently. Enable it and confirm trades in the Steam app.
- Trading is restricted. After a password or email change, or a sign-in from a new device, Steam restricts trading for a while.
- Wrong trade URL. If you changed the URL after placing the order, our bot cannot send the trade — send the new one to support.
- No room in the backpack. See How many keys fit.
Safety
You sign in to the site through the official Steam sign-in: the site never sees your password. Keys move in an ordinary trade offer that you confirm yourself.
UncrateTrade support answers only in the @UncrateTrade_bot bot and never asks for your password, Steam Guard codes, or for keys outside an order.
