These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website uncratetrade.com and the key exchange service offered on it (the “Service”). By signing in or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Vladislav Buravkov, a private individual based in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected]; legal questions: [email protected].
UncrateTrade is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Steam, Team Fortress 2 and Mann Co. Supply Crate Key are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
2. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You must use your own Steam account and your own cryptocurrency wallets.
- You must not be located in, or a resident of, a country or region where the Service or cryptocurrency transactions are prohibited, and you must not be subject to sanctions.
3. What the Service does
We buy and sell Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys for Team Fortress 2 for cryptocurrency. Keys are transferred through ordinary Steam trade offers; payments and payouts are made in the cryptocurrencies and networks listed on the site. The Service is not a bank, a payment service, an investment service or a cryptocurrency exchange, and we do not hold funds or items on your behalf beyond what is needed to complete your order.
4. Signing in
You sign in through the official Steam sign-in. We never see your Steam password. You are responsible for your Steam account, your Steam Guard settings, the trade URL you provide and the wallet addresses you enter.
5. Prices and fees
- Prices are shown in US dollars and follow the Steam Community Market price of the key. The price and the total of your order are shown before you place it.
- When you buy, the amount in the chosen coin is fixed for the payment window shown in the order (currently 20 minutes for stablecoins and 10 minutes for other coins).
- When you sell, the network fee of the payout is shown next to every coin before you confirm the order and is deducted from the payout.
- Prices may change at any time before you place an order. An order placed at a clearly wrong price caused by a technical error may be cancelled, and any payment returned under the Refund Policy.
6. Buying keys
- Send the exact amount, in the coin and on the network shown in the order, before the payment window closes.
- Once the payment is confirmed by the network, our bot sends you a Steam trade offer with the keys. You must accept it in Steam; an unaccepted offer may expire and be sent again.
- Our bot does not send trades that Steam would put on hold. To receive keys, your account must be able to trade without a hold (for example, Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for long enough).
- If we are temporarily out of keys, the order waits in a queue until keys are restocked. You may instead ask for a refund.
7. Selling keys
- Send the keys to our bot in a trade offer from the same Steam account you signed in with, containing only Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys, in the number stated in the order, and asking for nothing in return.
- Only tradable keys are accepted. Trades that do not match the order may be declined.
- After our bot has received the keys, the payout is sent to the wallet address you entered. You are responsible for entering a correct address for the chosen coin and network; a payout sent to the address you entered is final, even if the address was wrong. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
8. Payment mistakes
If you send a different amount or pay after the payment window has closed, the order is completed with as many keys as the amount received covers, and the rest is handled under the Refund Policy. Refunds caused by your mistake carry a 5% handling fee and the network fee, and amounts under $1 after these deductions are not refunded. Funds sent in a wrong coin or on a wrong network may not be recoverable. Contact support with your order number and a link to the transfer.
9. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, trading stolen items or funds, or any other illegal activity, and you must not interfere with or overload the Service. We may refuse, pause or cancel an order, ask for additional information, and report suspicious activity where the law requires it.
10. Steam and other third parties
Trades are subject to Steam’s own rules, which we do not control. We are not responsible for trade holds, trade bans, outages or other actions of Valve, of blockchain networks or of wallet providers.
11. Liability
We provide the Service with reasonable care, but on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid or the value of the keys you sent in that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Suspension and changes
We may suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons, and we may change these Terms. Changes apply to orders placed after they are published on this page; an order already placed is completed under the Terms in force when it was placed.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. Please contact [email protected] first — most issues can be solved quickly.
